Le médicament est pris par voie orale et le comprimé entier est lavé avec un verre d’eau pendant les repas. Pendant le traitement, vous devez boire au moins 2 litres de liquide par jour, ce qui aidera à expulser le mucus des voies respiratoires. Le médicament peut être pris pendant 3 jours maximum sans consulter un médecin.
L’utilisation de la thiocodine chez les adolescents âgés de 12 à 18 ans présentant une fonction respiratoire altérée n’est pas recommandée pour le traitement de la toux.
La dose recommandée de thiocodine pour les adultes et les adolescents de plus de 12 ans est de 1 comprimé trois fois par jour avec une pause d’au moins 4 à 6 heures.

Les comprimés contre la toux Thiocodine contiennent deux substances actives aux effets complémentaires. La codéine inhibe le réflexe de la toux et réduit la fréquence des quintes de toux. Le sulfaguayacol agit comme expectorant et facilite le mouvement des sécrétions liquéfiées dans les voies respiratoires et son expulsion.
