Method of using a medical device
Before using the medical device, carefully read the instructions for use enclosed in the packaging of the strips and the glucometer!
Brief description of the procedure:
Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water and dry them with a clean towel.
Remove the test strip from the container and close the lid immediately.
Insert the test strip into the Diagnostic Gold meter and wait until the meter turns on.
Puncture with a lancet device, e.g. B. Oplets.
When a suitable drop of blood forms, touch the drop at the end of the measuring strip until the correct amount of blood has been drawn onto the strip.
Wait 5 seconds and read the result on the measurement screen.
When the strip is removed, the meter turns off.
Clean the puncture site.
Discard the used strip and lancing lancet in an appropriate container.
Contraindications and precautions
The test strips should be used within 3 months of first opening the vial.
Store in a tightly closed original container in a dry place.
