Finasterid PUREN 5 mg Filmtabletten 50 Stk(Finasterid)

This medicine contains the active substance finasteride, which belongs to a group of medicines called 5-alpha reductase inhibitors. It shrinks an enlarged prostate.
Finasteride is used:
Treatment and control of benign (i.e., non-cancerous) enlargement of the prostate (benign prostatic hyperplasia – BPH).
Causes contraction of an enlarged prostate, improves urine flow and reduces the discomfort associated with BPH, and also reduces the risk of acute urinary retention and the need for surgery.
The medicine cannot be taken
if you have a hypersensitivity (allergy) to finasteride or any other part of finasteride.
