What is Fosamax?
The drug Fosamax (alendronic acid) belongs to a group of medicines called bisphosphonates. This drug changes the cycle of formation and breakdown of bone tissue in the body.

Among the main indications for the use of Fosamax tablets is osteoporosis in women after the onset of menopause and in the postmenopausal period, which helps prevent serious pathological conditions such as fractures of the femoral neck, vertebrae, wrist bones and hands. Osteoporosis after menopause is associated with a decrease in estrogen levels, which prevents bone thinning and improves bone quality. As a result of a decrease in this hormone, bone resorption increases, which leads to a decrease in bone mineral density, bones become weakened and more prone to fracture. You can buy Fosamax in our online pharmacy. It is used by women to treat and prevent osteoporosis associated with menopause.

This drug is also commonly used in men to treat osteoporosis caused by steroid use.

Other indications for the use of Fosamax (alendronic acid) include:

Paget’s disease (osteitis deformans, osteodystrophy) in women and men

Prevention of osteoporosis (caused by the use of glucocorticoids)

Treatment of osteoporosis in men and women

During treatment with Fosamax, normal bone tissue is formed. In therapeutic doses, alendronic acid does not cause osteomalacia. This drug has proven itself in the treatment of postmenopausal osteoporosis in women due to a significant increase in bone density. Therefore, reviews and reviews of Fosamaka are positive. Data from clinical studies demonstrate the high efficacy of the drug. Read the package insert for Fosamax before starting treatment.

Key points of the drug for osteoporosis Fosamax:
Fosamax is often prescribed to patients with osteoporosis, advanced cancer, and Paget’s disease to prevent bone loss (which is a common symptom of these diseases).

More than 10 million people are taking or have taken fosamax, the most effective bisphosphonate drug.

Fosamax is usually taken as a tablet on an empty stomach.

Most patients are prescribed Fosamax to treat the symptoms of osteoporosis, which is characterized by thinning of the bones, a condition that is especially common in postmenopausal women.

Please note that the use of food, coffee or orange juice along with Fosamax reduces the bioavailability of the drug by 60%.
