for the symptomatic treatment of common complaints such as headaches and body aches, runny nose and dry cough due to common colds.
If fever or increased body temperature is simultaneously observed, the medicine has an antipyretic effect.
Due to the fixed combination of active ingredients in the drug, individual dose adjustment cannot be made for complaints that primarily affect one of the mentioned symptoms. In such situations, medications with a different composition are preferable.
The medicine cannot be taken
if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to paracetamol, ascorbic acid, caffeine, chlorphenamine maleate or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
if you suffer from severe kidney dysfunction
if you suffer from severe liver dysfunction
children under 12 years old
if you are pregnant
if you are breastfeeding.
Always take the medicine exactly as directed. If you are unsure, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, the usual dose is:
Adults and young people 12 years and older
Take 2 capsules 3 times a day.
Patients with impaired liver and/or kidney function.
In patients with impaired liver and/or kidney function and congenital increased levels of bilirubin in the blood (Gilbert’s syndrome or Meulengracht’s disease), it is necessary to reduce the dose or increase the dosage interval. Please talk to your doctor about this.
If you have severe liver and/or kidney dysfunction, you should not take this medicine.
Duration of use
You should not take the medicine for a long time or in high doses without consulting a doctor.
Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you feel that the effect of the medicine is too strong or too weak.
If you take more medicine than prescribed
If you suspect a drug overdose, contact your doctor immediately so that he or she can decide how to proceed. Depending on how long ago it was taken, he will take the necessary measures. Show the package of pills to your doctor.
The following signs may indicate an overdose of the drug:
Paracetamol: In case of overdose, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, pallor and abdominal pain may initially occur (on the first day). Despite the improvement in general health on the second day, progressive liver damage may occur.
Chlorphenamine maleate: Overdose may cause facial flushing, fixed and dilated pupils, dry mouth and constipation. Hallucinations, loss of coordination and seizures have also been observed.
Caffeine: Overdose can cause tremors, central nervous system disorders and cardiovascular disease.
Ascorbic acid (vitamin C): Temporary diarrhea may occur when taken in high doses.
If you forget to take your medicine
Next time, do not take any more capsules, but continue to use them as described in the dosage instructions.
