This medication is used in adults and teenagers over 12 years of age and weighing 35 kg or more to relieve nausea and vomiting.
This is a medicine that increases movements or contractions of the stomach or intestines (prokinetic, antiemetic, selective peripheral dopamine antagonist).
Dosage:
Always take this medication exactly as your doctor has told you. If you are unsure, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Follow these instructions carefully unless your doctor tells you otherwise.
The usual dose is 1 ml (10 mg) up to three times daily, if possible before meals. Do not take more than 3 ml (30 mg) per day.
Patients with impaired renal function
In patients with impaired renal function, the frequency of use should be limited to once or twice a day depending on the severity of the impairment. A dose reduction may be required.
Duration of treatment:
Symptoms usually go away within 3 to 4 days after taking this medication. Do not take the product for more than 7 days without consulting your doctor.

If you took more than you should
Tell your doctor, pharmacist, or poison control center right away if you have taken a large dose, especially if a child has taken too much. In case of overdose, symptomatic treatment may be prescribed. Because a heart problem called QT prolongation may occur, ECG monitoring may be performed.
Symptoms

Care
There is no specific antidote to domperidone. In case of overdose, your doctor will prescribe appropriate therapy.
If you forget to take it
Take the medicine as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, wait until your scheduled time and then continue taking it as usual. Do not take a double dose if you forget to take the previous dose.
