Cada uno de los 21 comprimidos recubiertos con película contiene pequeñas cantidades de las hormonas sexuales femeninas etinilestradiol y dienogest.
Las «píldoras» que contienen dos hormonas se denominan «píldoras combinadas».
Los ensayos clínicos han demostrado que el medicamento mejora las manifestaciones del acné en mujeres en las que el aumento de la acción de las hormonas masculinas (los llamados «andrógenos») conduce a la aparición de acné.
Dosis
Tome siempre este medicamento exactamente como le haya indicado su médico o farmacéutico. Consulte con su médico o farmacéutico si no está seguro.
El medicamento debe tomarse de acuerdo con las instrucciones de dosificación a continuación, tanto para la prevención del embarazo como para el tratamiento de mujeres con acné moderado.
Para mantener su efecto anticonceptivo, siga las instrucciones de la sección «Si olvidó tomar una dosis».
Si toma las píldoras según las indicaciones, aún estará protegida contra el embarazo durante los 7 días que no tome las píldoras.
